Kenya’s new Competency-Based Curriculum prioritises the development of skills and latent talents, aligning perfectly with the work our programme has been doing for years. EACDT has been dedicated to building character, imparting life skills, and nurturing the sporting talent of students in underprivileged schools.
Our partner schools have leveraged our programme to deliver Physical and Health Education (PHE) effectively. In this collaborative effort, teachers handle theoretical content in classrooms, while our coaches lead practical field activities, including sports like volleyball, football, kabaddi, and athletics. Both teachers and coaches integrate key character traits into the lessons, ensuring a holistic education. Our team also supports schools by entering examination results into the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) portal for all three schools in the hub, fostering both academic and personal growth.
