One of EACDT’s achievements and aims is that we have, and will continue to help transform the lives of girls and boys from underprivileged backgrounds and communities in Kenya.
No finer example of this is illustrated in the photographs below, taken within the last couple of weeks at Kabiro Primary School in Kawangware.
Three years ago this school did not have a library.
Following a visit to Kenya during their cricket tour Wanstead and Snaresbrook CC members contributed through EACDT the funds necessary to renovate, and equip with books, a library.
In February 2025 members of the Hollywood Golden Oldies Cricket Club from USA also visited Kabiro School through EACDT as part of their cricket tour of Kenya.
One month ago Kabiro Primary School did not have a computer for the children to use.
Today they have a fully equipped computer room thanks to Hollywood Golden Oldies Cricket team and in particular Vivek Sharma and his Non For Profit organisation: Raise Funds Inc.
