We recently had the immense pleasure of hosting Bradfield College on their tour to Kenya, where they engaged deeply with our character education program and connected with our beneficiaries. The visit marked a unique opportunity for both Bradfield students and our youth to learn from one another, share experiences, and grow together through the game of cricket.
As part of their immersive experience, Bradfield College visited our hubs and schools, including Kawangware and Kabiro Primary School. Here, they saw firsthand the humble upbringing and daily lives of our young beneficiaries, gaining insight into the challenges and resilience that shape their journeys. It was an eye-opening experience for Bradfield students, who not only brought their skills and passion for cricket but also an openness to connect and learn in new surroundings.
One of the most exciting parts of the visit was the opportunity for four of our beneficiaries to join Bradfield’s teams and play side-by-side with their new friends. This gesture from Bradfield College extended beyond the sport itself, fostering meaningful connections, building confidence in our beneficiaries, and showcasing the impact of our character education program. These young players took on the challenge with determination, showcasing their skills, teamwork, and the very character traits that we strive to instill—resilience, social intelligence, and optimism.
During their stay, Bradfield College also played matches against our teams on some of Kenya’s most esteemed cricket grounds. From the historic Nairobi Club—Kenya’s oldest cricket club—to the iconic Goan Institute, Sir Ali Muslim Club, Peponi Grounds, and the internationally recognized Nairobi Gymkhana, each venue brought its own unique legacy and atmosphere. These grounds, with their storied pasts, offered our players a stage to compete and learn in settings that have hosted legends of the sport.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Bradfield College for this incredible visit, and for the opportunity they provided to our beneficiaries. Their presence not only enriched the lives of our young players but also reaffirmed the value of character education, cultural exchange, and the universal language of sportsmanship.
Our appreciation also goes to all the clubs that welcomed us and supported this initiative. To Nairobi Club, Goan Institute, Sir Ali Muslim Club, Peponi Grounds, and Nairobi Gymkhana—thank you for opening your doors to us and for helping create memories that will last a lifetime.
Through experiences like these, we continue to strengthen our mission, and we look forward to many more partnerships that empower our youth and promote character education through sports.
