We are pleased to announce that Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO) is supporting the initial phase of one of the key objectives in our 2024-2028 Business Plan: replacing informal mentoring with a comprehensive Structured Support Programme (SSP). This new programme aims to enhance activities from our Community Programme by offering continuous and intensive mentoring for individuals aged 14 to 22, facilitated by local providers in collaboration with EACDT.
While we continue to seek full funding for the SSP, SHOFCO’s support is instrumental in its initial rollout. Together, we have identified areas of collaboration such as female empowerment, leadership training, enterprise training, and work experience.
