Our Executive Team
David L. Waters MBE, Director Of Business Development
David has been resident in Kenya since 1981 and has been heavily involved in cricket, both playing and administration, and education, firstly as a teacher and subsequently as an administrator. A keen cricketer, he has held various executive positions in Cricket administration in the Country and has been one of the principal movers in the development of the game among children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
He has been in position since 2014 and was awarded the MBE for “services to underprivileged young people and cricket in Kenya”.
Collins Odhiambo, Programme Director
Graduate of the University of Nairobi, Collins has excellent first-hand experience of working with underprivileged communities, especially with vulnerable children, as a teacher, an aid worker and in the health sector.
He joined EACDT in 2021, initially as the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer before becoming Hub Manager and Director of Operations in 2022. He was promoted to his present position in 2023.
Francis Mungai, Operations Manager
Graduate of Jomo Kenyatta University, Francis worked extensively in the health sector where he gained valuable experience in providing support and empowerment for orphans and vulnerable children.
He joined EACDT in 2021, initially as an assistant administrator before becoming supervisor and subsequently leader of the Community Programme. He was promoted to his current position in 2024.
Dennis Mwaura, Media and Public Relations Officer
Dennis is a film director and a cinematographer with a passion for capturing impactful narratives. His journey began as a pupil in one of the schools, progressing through the Kenyan primary and secondary school system while nurturing his love for film, media, and sports.
Beyond his work, Dennis is an ICC Level 1 cricket coach and an avid cricketer. Alongside his creative pursuits, he has also pursued a Business Management qualification and has self-taught marketing skills, which he applies in his various projects.
Dennis is dedicated to telling stories that inspire, giving back, and continuously growing his skill set.
