The East Africa Cricket and Education Foundation will host its inaugural black tie gala ball ‘Out of Africa’ to raise funds for the Foundation on Saturday, 15th October 2016 at 7pm at the Hotel L’Horizon, St Brelade’s Bay in Jersey.
MC, Roger Dakin, former England hockey goalkeeper will lead the nights proceedings which will commence with a champagne reception followed by a three course dinner. An auction, conducted by Lord Dalmeny, Chairman of Sothebys will be held which will play a huge part in raising funds for the Foundation. Items such as a 5 day holiday in the Seychelles kindly donated by the Banyan Tree Group has already been secured. A silent auction will also be take place through the evening.
The event will be attended by cricketing celebrities including EACDT Patron, and ex-England Captain, David Gower OBE. Amongst the entertainment for the evening, Njabulo Madlala, the South African baritone will perform South African favourites.
Tables are available for 10 or 12 guests at a cost of £1,000 for 10 or £1,200 for 12.
