Life now has a different dimension for the children.

Before they started the character and cricket programme, the kids in the slums would mostly spend their weekends or holidays begging, collecting scrap metal and doing bad things.

Now they are committed to the programme, detached from their normal environment in the slums or village and have changed for the better. Their characters are showing real improvement as a result of the programme.

Many of the children are now far more determined in their approach to life inside the classroom and outside of the school environment. As a result of the EACDT programme, the children now have a shining light at the end of the tunnel.
